However, this issue now turns into a financial situation, when days are needed to be made up by districts. The State has put too much pressure on districts for "climate" days and making them up. As for the elimination of snow days, I think that is stupid. There are days where it is not safe to be on the road. There are also days where it is just too cold (with the wind chill) to be standing outside waiting for the bus.
