Marina check expected from out of country source…

As reported tonight on FOX Toledo according to outgoing Mayor Carty Finkbeiner as reported by Barrett Andrews:
“We have been told by Larry Dillin that the money is en route from out-of-country locations, to him, to plunk down for his purchase of 48 acres of the Marina District.”
It’s an update on a story that FOX Toledo has been following that has been focused on here in the past. What we don’t know is what out of country location is involved…I’ll update to a exact link for the story once FOX Toledo has it online. Updated!
That money might be coming from Never Never Land.

December 31st, 2009 at 9:20 amIt seems like there have been promises after promises about the check being in the mail. When the date(s) arrive, the check doesn’t show up but with great fanfare, a new date is announced. Hurrah!
