In theory, yes along with a longer jail sentence if he has had a DUI within 6 years – link.

Well he did give one for IA, but the results are being withheld until the conclusion of the criminal case. Because he failed to give one for the criminal case (DUI or OVI) hr should lose his license, as if I was in the same situation I would forfeit my license!

Is he going to get fired or reassigned to a desk job where he still makes his salary?

It seems to me one position just opened up for a laid-off police officer but I’m sure the union doesn’t agree.
