Groups serving Homeless need more resources…

When the weather gets this bitterly cold the groups in our area that serve the homeless do whatever they can to make sure anyone who needs it has a warm place to sleep. Most of our local media has focused on this the past day or so as the thermometer has dropped down to the danger zone. If you haven’t donated to one of these organizations recently and can do so, now would be a good time. One in particular in this area is The Cherry Street Mission. If you want to donate a specific item rather than to make a direct financial contribution, I recommend calling to see what their specific needs are. That way you are helping with what is needed right at this moment in time.
