A reader question…Bush or Finkbeiner?

We get lots of email as a part of the blog, and sometimes people write in to suggest something they’d like to see me blog about or a question they’d like to see asked. In this one, a reader asks:
Who do you like better, President Bush or Mayor Finkbeiner? Between the two who does a better job?
So, what do you think?

Okay, I’d have to cast one vote for Carleton S. (for brains) FINKwiener, or as we call him down at the bar, the big ole FINKweenie.

Bush would be great for cookouts since after a few beers, you know he’ll be the guy who says “ya’ll watch this!” and ends up either on fire or falling from a roof.
Carty is the guy you take to bars whenever you want to see a fight get started.
They run about the same in the “leadership” (snicker snicker) dept!

It seems to me that they both have the same type of personality (well Bush does seem to be more personable) and neither seem to be accountable for their own actions.

August 13th, 2008 at 11:27 amCarty does a better job because he can balance a budget. Bush took a large surplus and now has run up large deficets choosing a pre-emtive war with Iraq. Also, Bush has the blood of 4,000 U.S. servicemen and women and hundreds of thousands of Iraq civilians on his hands.
Carty is merely a doofus. I think Carty has done a less worse job in his capacity as mayor than Bush has done to the country.
