While I’m getting ready for City Council to begin…a moment of humor…

I turned my television on to channel 69, waiting for Toledo City Council to begin and I noticed the show that is being ran on the “Revenue Fronteir” which is where Toledo City Council is aired is selling colon cleansers. Right now they are talking about constipation, round worms, tape works and hook worms….
Supposedly most people have parasites in their intestines…Is an indepth discussion about bowel movements an indicator of how this week’s Council meeting will go?
Lord, I hope not. I really have a hard time buying this as “Educational” it’s late night infomercial scams…

May 6th, 2008 at 8:42 pmI have actually watched some of the colon cleanse infomercial – the one with the two guys and the woman. They talked about length, diameter, texture, etc.. It was like a train wreck; I could not quit watching. And how do they do that program without laughing? I was losing it! The two guys looked like former prison inmates. Obviously, that must be where they learned about the colon. Lets see, two guys and a woman – can’t be city council. Must be the County Comissioners.
