Chris Redfern re-elected as Chair of Ohio Democratic Party

24 Apr 2008

Michael Friedman, the Democratic State Committeeman for District 2, along with the rest of the elected Democratic committeemen and women were sworn in tonight in Columbus, Ohio at the Democratic headquarters. From what I’ve been told Tim Burga, Ohio AFL-CIO Chief of Staff was the one who nominated Chris Redfern, Michael Friedman seconded and Redfern was again selected as the Chair of the Ohio Democratic Party. He ran unopposed for the seat.

I’ll update with media links when they are available.

Well what else would you expect from that suck butt, ding bat Freidman?

What bugs me is that clearly the Dems are in trouble in this state/county/city and yet they refuse to start at the top for change. This is why they should never run any kind of business. When a business is failing, they fire the whole top tier and start over with new blood.

They only care about sucking each others penis’. Freidman is the best example of this. They don’t want to change, else they might not get there’s sucked on, now and again.

Not Again, I think the Stainbrook thread excited you too much, because that was way over the top and really not appropriate.

Lisa, I am not even going to reply to this….I and the rest of the Democratic party are taking the high road. Sherryl and I had a wonderful day in Columbus, had a tour of the new Democratic headquarters and we had a one on one meeting with the chairman, and made plans for the state convention on May 10th. Just an outstanding day, and I will not let the likes of not again pull me down. Hey , we had dinner at Mitchell’s, and it was outstanding. It is located on 3rd and Grant, right around the corner from the Statehouse. Also, Treasurer Wade and Sara the new committeewoman for District 11 (Toledo) were there and so was Ms Murrary from Sandusky, my counterpart from District 2

Maybe it would be more appropriate (and correct) if Not Again used the words “brown nosers” and/or “ass kissers” instead of “penis suckers”

But, Not Again is, in essence, correct about how the state party is run. I don’t understand all the pomp and circumstance regarding the so-called “elections” for the state chair position. The vote was manipulated and rigged in December 2005 (when Redfern was first anointed). Why would anyone believe that the state party is run any different today?

“Democracy” is not the rule of thumb for Ohio Democrats or even the state executive committee who have continuously demonstrated that they are mindless rubber stamps for whatever Strickland wants done.

I respect Strickland, on an individual basis, related to his job performance as Governor. However, I object to how he believes he has the right to control state party operations and fund-raising through two huge scumbags (Chris Redfern and David Leland). The fact that Todd Hoffman and Bryan Clark have been employed by the ODP is, in and of itself, enough to question state party operations and thus enough to question Chris Redfern’s judgment and ability.

come on now, party chairman elections are never rigged, it is always democracy in action.

Another lack-luster year with the spineless Redfern at the helm.
