COMMISSIONER WOZNIAK ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF KEY COUNTY SOCIAL SERVICES REPORT
Job and Family Services, Children Services, Child Support Enforcement Take Renewed Steps Toward Merger, Collaboration
Lucas County Commissioner Tina Skeldon Wozniak will be joined by all three heads of Lucas County’s social service agencies, along with labor representatives and others, to announce the results of a two-year merger/collaboration process at a news conference on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Lucas County Job and Family Services, 3210 Monroe Street.
The Collaboration Committee, created two years ago at the State of the County, will presents its report highlighting areas of better service for clients and better value for the taxpayers.
“Our clients and our taxpayers deserve to have efficient agencies who deliver the best service possible in these difficult economic times,” said Commissioner Tina Skeldon Wozniak. “I’m proud to showcase this report and the areas of improvement and collaboration that it highlights.”

Having had over 30 years of experience in both employment and citizen community volunteer capacities regarding the topic of this study, I will be extremely interested to learn all the fine details contained within the report.
