New sidebar widget for local presidential information…
If you look to your left you’ll see a new sidebar widget that’s entitled “Local Presidential News”. Since I am in communication with both the Hillary Clinton and the Barack Obama campaigns here in the Glass City, I felt this would be the easiest way for me to keep you all up to date on what was planned. As soon as I receive information it will be updated there so you’ll know when someone is coming into Toledo or Canvassing is scheduled or some other item of interest the campaigns want you to know about that’s happening here in NWO. I don’t have a phone number for the Obama campaign yet, which is why it is not listed and for those of you who are McCain or Huckabee or Ron Paul supporters? If the campaigns make contact with me and provide me with information as far as what they have planned for Toledo, I’ll add their information too. It’s not about me and who I’m supporting, it’s about making sure if you want to get involved in a presidential campaign that you can do so.

The local telephone number for the Obama campaign is 419-244-2008 (pretty easy to remember). And the address is actually 44 South St. Clair, not 48. 48 South St. Clair is the wonderful coffee shop right next door, the Downtown Latte.
We had such a great turnout at our initial organizing meeting Wednesday night (at least 200 people) that we are running two neighborhood canvassing operations today, one starting at 10:00 a.m. and one starting at 2:00 p.m. I’m up at this hour of a Saturday morning because Channel 13 is going to do a live broadcast from Obama HQ at 6:00 a.m. for its morning news show.
Anyone interested in helping with the Obama campaign is invited to stop by for either shift today and see what it’s all about.

Keith, thank you! I corrected the address it was given via email from an Obama staff member here in Toledo, must have been a typo. I also appreciate the phone number – I’ve added that as well.
