Happy smile moments of the day…

There is some good news…Burlington Coat Factory is planning on opening a store in South Toledo where Best Buy and The Pharm used to be.
Then, those of you who focus on environmental issues will be happy to learn that the federal cap-and-trade system for mercury emissions by coal powered power plants has been invalidated by a federal appeals court. Ohio will now have to re-look at it’s mercury emission standards…
“The proposed FDS facility could join Bay Shore as a major mercury source in the Toledo area.
But it is not affected by the ruling because coke ovens were not included in the Bush Administration’s proposed cap-and-trade system for mercury, said Lance Traves, FDS project manager and environmental consultant.”
