Tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Student Union, Room 1509 – Joe McNamara will be the featured speaker as part of the Young Democrats Lecture Series. Following the discussion, there will be a brief update on the “ABC’s of HPV” a program run by LCYD member Allison Dow. (Editorial note: more info on this program can be found here)

Busy night for Joe. He was at the fundraiser for Bernie Quilter, Lucas County Clerk of Courts, earlier this evening.

February 20th, 2007 at 8:55 pmIt was a busy day in general. I started the day at Owens Corning for the Webinar on the 2010 Imperative. Commissioner Wozniak has shown great leadership on green buildings and I’m very excited to be working with her on some upcoming initiatives. Then I ran over to council for our agenda review meeting. Then I had a few meetings (no open meeting laws were violated!). I returned calls, then off to Bernie’s, then off to the College Dems. So it was a full day.

February 20th, 2007 at 10:21 pmI was sorry to have missed hearing you speak at UT Joe, but until Erin’s car is fixed due to her recent accident we’re a one car family and she had to attend a meeting for school. I’ve located the necessary parts so hopefully this weekend she’ll have her vehicle back.
